I. Introduction of Liupanshui Normal University

PG电子（中国）是省属公办的全日制普通本科院校，地处有“中国凉都”之称的贵州省六盘水市。六盘水市属川滇黔桂结合部，有“四省立交桥”之称，年均气温15℃，气候舒爽，被中国气象学会授予“中国凉都”称号，是全国唯一以气候特征命名的城市。月照机场开通六盘水直达北上广等十多个城市的航线。六盘水多元包容，不仅是国家“三线”建设时期发展起来的能源原材料工业城市，更是集古夜郎文化、红色文化、三线文化、民族文化、旅游文化等于一身的宜居城市。

Liupanshui Normal University is a provincial public full-time undergraduate institution located in Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, known as the Cool Capital of China. Liupanshui City is located in the junction of Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, and Guangxi. It is known as the Four Provinces Interchange with an average annual temperature of 15 ℃ and a comfortable climate. It has been awarded the title of China's Cool Capital by the Chinese Meteorological Society and is the only city in China named after its climate characteristics. Yuezhao Airport has opened direct flights from Liupanshui to more than ten cities including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Liupanshui is not only an energy and raw material industrial city developed during the national third line construction period, but also a livable city that integrates ancient Yelang culture, red culture, third line culture, ethnic culture, and tourism culture.

学校2009年由六盘水师范高等专科学校升格为PG电子（中国），2013年获得学士学位授予单位资格，2015年列为贵州省向应用型转型发展试点院校，2016年通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估，被列入贵州省“十三五”新增硕士学位授予立项建设单位；2017年加入全国应用技术大学（学院）联盟，2018年获得外国留学生招生资格，并于2021年开始招收国际留学生。目前与辽宁师范大学、贵州师范大学、大连大学等高校联合培养硕士研究生；与上海工程技术大学、台湾大叶大学、泰国清迈大学等17所国（境）内外高校，华为技术有限公司等国内多家知名企业和科研机构建立了深度合作关系。

In 2009, the school was upgraded from Liupanshui Normal College to Liupanshui Normal College. In 2013, it obtained the qualification of a bachelor's degree granting unit. In 2015, it was listed as a pilot university for the transformation and development of Guizhou Province towards an applied type. In 2016, it passed the qualification evaluation of undergraduate teaching work by the Ministry of Education and was included in the construction unit for the new master's degree granting project in Guizhou Province during the 13th Five Year Plan period; Joined the National Alliance of Applied Technology Universities (Colleges) in 2017, obtained the qualification for recruiting foreign students in 2018, and began recruiting international students in 2021. Currently, jointly training master's students with universities such as Liaoning Normal University, Guizhou Normal University, and Dalian University; We have established deep cooperative relationships with 17 domestic and international universities, including Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, Daye University in Taiwan, Chiang Mai University in Thailand, and many well-known domestic enterprises and research institutions, such as Huawei Technology Co., Ltd.

学校与得天独厚的明湖国家湿地公园水乳相融，被誉为“贵州最美大学校园”。学校占地面积1310亩，建筑面积近39.55万平方米，2014年被授予全省“安全文明校园”，2017年被评为“全省文明校园”。教学科研仪器设备总值1.59亿元，馆藏图书184余万册；930名教职工中高级职称人员347人，具有硕士及以上学历学位教师578人，“双师双能”型教师187人。享受省政府特殊津贴专家1人，宝钢优秀教师1人，市管专家72人。

The school blends seamlessly with the unique Minghu National Wetland Park, earning it the title of the most beautiful university campus in Guizhou. The school covers an area of 1310 acres, with a building area of nearly 395500 square meters. In 2014, it was awarded the title of Safe and Civilized Campus in the province, and in 2017, it was awarded the title of Civilized Campus in the Province. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 159 million yuan, with a collection of over 1.84 million books; There are 347 staff members with intermediate and senior professional titles, including 930 faculty members, 578 teachers with master's degrees or above, and 187 teachers with dual qualifications and abilities. The school has 16 secondary colleges, including the School of Literature and Journalism, the School of Mathematics and Statistics, the School of Physics and Electrical Engineering, the School of Biological Science and Technology, the School of Marxism, the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Chemistry and Materials Engineering, the School of Mining and Mechanical Engineering, the School of Education Science (Teacher Education College), the School of Computer Science, the School of Physical Education, the School of Economics and Management (Tourism College), the School of Art, the School of Civil Engineering and Planning, the School of Continuing Education, and the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. There are 5 provincial-level scientific and technological innovation talent teams, including the Research Team for Tourism Industrialization in Resource based Cities and the Guizhou Province Roadway Roof Visualization Intelligent Detection Technology Innovation Talent Team, as well as 8 department level innovation teams, including Clean Coal Processing and Transformation Utilization and Unconventional Natural Gas Geological Evaluation and Development. There are 8 municipal level scientific and technological innovation talent teams, including High efficiency and energy-saving technology in coal chemical industry in the sub plateau area of Liupanshui and Intelligent diagnosis of major key equipment faults in coal mines under big data. Since the upgrade, we have undertaken more than 2400 scientific research projects at all levels and types, including 25 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, 10 projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation, and 274 provincial and ministerial level projects. We have received 33 provincial and ministerial level scientific research achievement awards. There is one National Intellectual Property Information Public Service Network, 14 academic research institutions including the Three Transformations Reform Research Institute and Guizhou Carbon Neutrality High tech Research Institute. There are a total of 196 industry university research cooperation bases and internship training bases. It is a provincial-level teacher development center, a provincial-level professional and technical personnel continuing education base, and a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage inheritor training base in Guizhou Province.

（一）申请资格

（I）Qualification

1. 原则须满18周岁（未满18岁的学生须提供父母的委托书，并为其指定在华担保人，提供担保书），语言生原则上不超过30岁，学历生原则上不超过25岁。

Age 18-30 for non-degree program, 18-25 for undergraduate programs. (Age under 18 who would like to apply for programs of the school shall be warranted by a Chinese citizen appointed by legal guardians);

2. 身心健康，持本国体检表（附中/英文翻译）。

Physically and mentally healthy(in both Chinese and English);

3. 本国无犯罪记录，愿意遵守中国的法律、法规、遵守PG电子（中国）的规章制度、尊重中国人的风俗习惯、遵守社会公德。

No criminal records; 

4. 高中毕业或以上学历。

Graduating from high school or above;

5. 学历生HSK4级及以上水平。

（一）关于入学注册

l About Enrollment

1. 入学注册时需要提交什么材料（Materials for enrollment）？

所有学生须在指定的日期，携带好相关材料到国际教育学院注册入学。

Students are required to submit the following materials to the School of International Education in the set time.

（1）录取通知书原件（Admission Letter of Liupanshui Normal University）；

（2）《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）原件（Visa Application for Study in China (JW 202)）；

（3）学校指定医院的体检报告（Health Report issued by the assigned hospital）；

（4）护照原件（Passport）；

（5）学历学位证书及成绩单原件（及中/英文翻译件）（Certificate of the highest diploma obtained and school report and translated version in Chinese/English）；

（6）无犯罪记录证明原件（及中/英文翻译件）（Certificate of No Criminal Record and a translated version in Chinese/English）。

2. 如何支付学费（Payment）？

学费和其他费用在注册入学后第一个月内使用银联或现金支付（不接受外币、支票、信用卡支付）。

Tuition and accommodation expense are required to be paid within the first month. Payment: Union pay card/cash (Foreign currency, check and credit card are not accepted).

（二）关于签证申请

l About Visa

1．签证类型（Type of Visa）？

在PG电子（中国）学习六个月及以上的申请人需持有来华学习签证（X签证）。

Students who study in China for no less than 6 months are required to apply for X-visa）.

2．如何申请中国的学习签证（How to apply for study visa in China）？

一旦申请被受理，申请人将会收到PG电子（中国）录取通知书和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》。申请人可向其所在国的中国大使馆或总领事馆提出签证申请。

Students who are enrolled by the school can apply for visa in Chinese embassy or consulate with Admission Letter and JW202.

3．在申请人所在国申请签证需要哪些文件（Materials in applying for Visa）？

（1）本人有效护照（Valid Passport）；

（2）大学录取通知书原件（Original Copy of Admission Letter of Liupanshui Normal University）；

（3）《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（Visa Application for Study in China (JW 202)）；

（4）必要时，需向申请人所在国的中国大使馆或总领事馆提交所需的特殊材料（Other materials that are required by the Chinese embassy or consulate）。

注：签证成功后，请确保护照、录取通知书和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》都交回本人手上。

4．签证申请价格（Charge for Visa）？

签证申请的价格可向中国大使馆询问。

5．申请人能为其父母申请陪同签证吗？

Is it allowed for parents apply for accompanying visa？

不能。国际学生的陪同签证对象仅限于配偶。

No. Only Spouses are qualified to apply for accompanying visa.

6．需要在申请人国家进行体检吗？

Is medical examination required before studying in China？

除了学习时间少于6个月（一学期）的留学生和当地中国大使馆特许留学生之外，其余留学生都必须在来中国之前进行体检。

Yes. All students are required to receive a medical examination by hospital except from students who study for less than 6 months and students with special permission by local Chinese embassy.

（三）关于奖学金申请

l About scholarship

申请奖学金时间：申请人（学历生）可以在入学后的次年3月到5月提交申请，详情请直接与学校国际教育学院咨询。

Students who study in Liupanshui Normal University are available to apply for scholarship in the next year during March to May. For further information, please contact the School of International Education.

1．关于接机（接站）服务（Pick-up service ）

学校在上班时间提供接机（接站）服务，非上班时间请自行来校。

Pick-up service are provided during the enrollment time; For non-enroll time, students can only come to school by self.

2．关于餐饮服务（Dining）

PG电子（中国）食堂：中心食堂（朝阳校区）；龙山食堂（龙山校区）。

Two Dining Halls: Central Canteen (Chaoyang Campus), Longshan Canteen (Longshan Campus).

3．关于校园卡服务（School Card）

校园卡相当于学生证，可用于学校内的餐饮，图书借阅，购买热水，办理上网等。
